I’m not sure how many shells I’ve left behind, but I do know the uncomfortable feeling of the in-between. You get nervous you’ve made a bad choice and just can’t fit back into the safety of that shell you just left. But you also haven’t quite found one that fits. Then, day by day, you gain confidence in a new temporary home.. and once you’re comfy, it’s time to stretch yourself and move again.

But it’s super cool to watch those younger and smaller move into the shell you just left - making it their own… for now.

This is one of cycles of joy and (most-literal) growing pains of life.
